The past few days have been up and down. Friday Hachi, Chibi, Yuki, and I went to a high school rendition of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe that was given at Hachi's teaching placement. It was a great show. The students did very well, especially the actor for Mr. Beaver. In the words of Hachi and Yuki, he was a "Hot Beaver". Hachi revealed this to our guild master in WoW and he thought she was being hacked, that was hilarious. Another joke of the night was that Hachi has a floor rug in her room and I was messing with the tassels, Hachi told me to "stop playing with her rug" and everyone's maturity level plummeted.
Saturday was like a pendulum of drama. First off, there had been rumors going around about our guild master. Some of these rumors have been spouted off by a guy that Hachi has been talking to who was kicked out of the guild. Hachi and I went and talked to our guild master and listened as he debunked the rumors with examples, jokes, and calling in guild members to tell them that "omigosh I'm sorry I am the one that has been hacking your account." many laughs were had but both Hachi and I were left with a weary feeling about her. She had given the guy she has been talking to her phone number and sent him a letter so he might have her address. Scary crap seeing as how the friend of the guy went stalker on a girl once, he really-really likes Hachi, and the reactions I heard he had when Hachi was trying to talk to him about what she had heard has my eyebrows locked in a furrowed position in concern, anger, and confusion (in that order).
Today I've heard that they have cooled down... and "everything will/should be okay."
For this weekend: WoW Drinking Game
2 kinds of drinks are needed, something heavy and something you enjoy.
Pick a bracket of leveling (1-10, 11-20, etc.)
For every level someone achieves, they get to drink what they want to drink.
For every death, they have to drink one shot of something heavy.
If leveling in instance runs, each level gained forces the others within the party to drink something heavy.
I will add to this later.

Egg Rolls Make Me Tired
Tonight's bout of work was the longest, most boring 5 hours ever. There was almost no one coming in! I only got 5 delivery orders (only St. V's tipped). Late in the workday, the Bossman had me mix all the ingredients for the egg rolls. Always fun at first. I get to dig through the cabbage and other vegetables; building cabbage pyramids and wrecking them before it looks like I am enjoying myself. Then Bossman added the salt, pepper, garlic powder, sugar, and other stuff to the mix. the grainy texture of all the seasonings tore the crap out of my hands. As I am typing this, my hands are still red and swollen.
Anyway, tossing around 100+ pounds of coleslaw for 15 minutes is really tiring. Like trying to hold a greased up gnome that keeps slipping out of your grip.
Final thought: If I am eating Chinese food traveling from Indiana and, as I get full, pass into Ohio, which is a timezone one hour ahead of Indiana, will I be hungry again?
Next time: WoW drinking game.

Nothing spectacular tonight... but later..!
Tonight is technically my last class of the fall semester. I've completed all of my work but two things which are due next week. One is my video and commentary of me teaching a class, the other is a reflection of an urban street project my group presented earlier this week. The class I am attending this afternoon is the only class I do not know if I have an exam in.
Dec 11 I am planning on having Hachi and Yuki over again, hopefully for the night, that is up to them. The reason for this gathering is to celebrate a semester well done. Granted Yuki told me that the exams are the week following the 11th, personally I feel it is a good day to relax. Need to make a list of things to get so here we go:
1. Tortilla chips (no "hint of lime" this time)
2. Pretzels
3. Fruit and/or vegetable-tray
4. Energy drink of some sort (need ideas, Cataclysm will be out and when we are not watching movies we will be gaming like mad)
5. Pizza... or something. Maybe
6. Raspberry Smirnoff for Hachi.
7. Dr. Pepper diet or otherwise
8. Either Mike's Lemonade or a new wine for me
9. Peach Smirnoff for Yuki
10. Maraschino cherries
11. Canned pineapple
12. Sprite
I know not all of these will be gotten. But hey, it'll still be a badass night. Any other ideas please comment.

Aah holiday's end
Well, Thanksgiving weekend is done here. My fridge kinda looks like a war zone with all the leftovers jammed in there. Good times were had though. Hachi came over for the holiday and we stuffed ourselves silly with food, then drink, then monopoly with my Mother. Yea, kinda sounds lame, but the Monopoly board was the Special Edition Here and Now Monopoly with tons of pieces and the credit card swipe machine; which is awesome when you can't do math after a few drinks.
Friday was kinda scary. Went Black Friday shopping with Hachi, her brother, and his girlfriend. Way too many people in cramped spaces for my taste. Got most of my Xmas shopping done though. I do have to say that Best Buy sucks though. We went in there hoping to get some great deals using the "price matching" art of shopping where you carry around ads from other stores and use them to bargain with the clerks to get the lower prices like other stores have. It is a real neat way of shopping. Our group picked up a few games and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. The games were priced at other stores for $10-15 as compared to Best Buy's $25-35 price; a good deal when matched, yea?
We all got to the checkout and attempted to price match. The clerk at the register was getting ready to match the prices, but apparently she was new because she stalled, looking at her screen. A supervisor of some sort (put in charge of getting the games from the storage for the customers) came by to get the games that we had chosen only to squirt a heavy load of funblock all over the smiling faces of our group. First the keyboard/mouse combo I picked up was coming up as the wrong price (the rack said $40 it rang up at $79) he was cool enough to go and look into the price mix only to come back and tell us that we made an error and that he "could not find where the keyboard in question was originally," nor could he "see how we could think the price was what we claimed it was." So no keyboard. He rubbed the funblock in deep when he informed us that Best Buy does not do price matching on Black Friday, just Black Friday. He also claimed that no other store does price matching on Black Friday either, which was crap (we had just come from Wal-mart where we got a kick ass deal with price matching). We told him about Wal-mart, but he stood his creamy shit ground. So no games, he just screwed his store our of at least $100 of profit. A spit in the bucket, maybe, but that $100 he cost, plus what it cost the company to pay him to be a douche bag.
Saturday and Sunday consisted of school work and work work. Nothing too fun, other than Hachi coming over to do her work and watch Gilmore Girls with me, eat major noms, play with our dog, mess around with WoW toons, and be amazed by the beginning of Mass Effect 2. Enough for now, I need sleep.
Final Thought: Cranberry wine is not a good follow-up for vanilla egg nog. High acid wine needs high acid foods.

Devil Scanner
I have been in the same chair all day at my school all day... For the what... past... 8 hours now, I have been pruning, rewriting, noting, tabbing, and now scanning my lessons for the unit I taught. Why scan you might ask? Why not just make corrections on the lesson files and turn that in? Because, that would be intelligent and this school is not known for doing smart things, only making smart people.
The only thing that has made today worth while is that Hachi has been texting me while I have been here. I am so sorry to her though.... I was suppose to pick her up from her teaching placement and instead her brother had to go so I could stay here and continue working. I love her for that though.... she decided to stand out in the cold waiting for her brother rather than interrupt my work. I have to think of something to get/do for her to thank her... It really seems uncaring if I do not.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving.... if she isn't doing anything with her family, she can come over and we can enjoy some bad-assery. but I don't feel that is enough... I need something else... like... an early X-mas gift or something.
Final thought: Scanner-"BRRRRRERRRRRRRRRNRRRRRRRRRBRRRRRRRRRRRRR-derp"
Add: I just found out that Hachi has to go to work for the dumbest reasons ever... This is turning out to be a shitty evening.

Random
Yea, working on my unit plan and a song comes up on Pandora Radio; Bryan Adams (Everything I do) I do it for you. It made me feel all misty so I looked up the lyrics and sung along with it.
Sing with me!
Look into my eyes - you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart - search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you
Look into your heart - you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am - take my life
I would give it all - I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you
There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the way
Oh - you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you - I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you - ya I'd die for you
Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you
Oh, and the Jazz event was totally awesome. It was Latin Jazz, the conductor was great as was the rest of the band. I think the guy on the vibraphone enjoyed his part too much or he might have violence issues. He was totally assaulting the bars with a bloody vengeance.
